Portret kojarzy nam się ze zdjęciem paszportowym, co jest błędem, bo portret może obejmować również całą sylwetkę. Fotografowaną modelkę czy modela możemy wykadrować na różne sposoby. Może to być bliski portret obejmujący jedynie twarz, szyję i dekolt, może to być tzw. amerykański kadr, w którym kadrujemy zdjęcie powyżej kolan lub portret całej sylwetki, a nawet grupy osób. Portrety mogą być amatorskie i profesjonalne, naturalne i pozowane, studyjne i plenerowe, artystyczne i reportażowe.

The portrait is associated with a passport photo, which is a mistake, because the portrait can also include the entire figure. We can frame the modeled model or model in various ways. It can be a close portrait covering only the face, neck and cleavage, it can be called an American frame in which we frame a photo above the knees or a portrait of the whole figure, or even a group of people. Portraits can be amateur and professional, natural and posed, studio and outdoor, artistic and reportage.
